A Week of Growth, Gratitude, and New Chapters: My Journey Continues

Date: December 1, 2025

Some weeks feel normal. Some weeks pass without much thought.
And then there are weeks like this one — the kind that change you a little, remind you of who you are, and push you toward who you want to become.

This past week wasn’t just busy.
It wasn’t just exciting.
It felt like a shift — a new chapter opening in real time.

Let me tell you what happened.

Re-Entering the Blue Tiger World

For the last few days, I found myself sitting down with my notebook again, the same way I used to years ago — scribbling ideas, rewriting scenes, sketching out villains, and letting the world of Blue Tiger take over my imagination.

Writing the third book of the Blue Tiger series feels different.
It feels heavier, stronger, more real.

Blue Tiger has always been more than a character to me.
He’s symbolized courage, identity, transformation — the superhero version of the person I’m trying to become.

As I continue writing this new installment, I’m exploring deeper emotions, bigger stakes, and a more mature version of this universe. It’s the kind of story that doesn’t just entertain you… it grows with you.

And honestly, this week reminded me why I write in the first place — to escape, to express, to build worlds that help me understand my own.

Meeting the Mayor of Mississauga — A Moment That Hit Different

The highlight of my week — maybe even my whole year — happened when I met Carolyn Parrish, the Mayor of Mississauga.

Yes.
Me — a student, a young author, someone simply chasing a dream — sitting with the mayor because she heard about Checkmate and Eight Bullets.

When she recognized my work, when she looked at my books, when we took pictures and had a conversation like two people sharing their journeys… something shifted in me.

I felt seen.

I felt acknowledged.

I felt like all the years of writing quietly, all the nights editing chapters alone, all the moments I doubted myself — they suddenly made sense.

To be honest, I didn’t expect to feel emotional about it. But sitting there, talking about my stories, my inspirations, and my growth, I realized how far this journey has taken me.

A boy who wrote stories at home.
A student who published his first book not knowing what would happen.
An author who kept writing, kept improving, kept pushing.

And now, someone who earned a seat at the table with the mayor.

That moment will stay with me forever.

A Week of Reflection

After that meeting, I found myself thinking a lot.

About where I started.
About who supported me.
About how much I’ve grown — not just as a writer, but as a person.

This week reminded me that success isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s slow. Sometimes it’s hidden. Sometimes it’s building quietly behind the scenes until suddenly the world catches on.

Writing new chapters of Blue Tiger while experiencing new chapters in my own life felt powerful. Almost symbolic.

It made me realize that we don’t always notice our progress while we’re living it.
But moments like this show us just how far we’ve come.

Fuel for What’s Coming Next

Everything that happened this week gave me new strength, new ideas, and new motivation.

I want to keep writing.
I want to finish Blue Tiger 3 strong.
I want to continue building the Checkmate world.
I want to create stories that inspire and connect with people.

And I want to keep showing that young authors, especially from communities like ours, can make real noise in this world.

This week wasn’t just a milestone.
It was a reminder — that dreams are real, opportunities exist, and hard work pays off.

I’m stepping into next week with more purpose, more vision, and more belief in myself than ever before.

Thank you to everyone who supports me, reads my books, shares my posts, and encourages me. You’re part of this journey, and I’m grateful every day.

Here’s to more writing, more growth, more surprises, and more chapters — both on the page and in life.
